I was just wondering exactly how hard it is to transfer into vsb from another school at villanova. Thanks

Very difficult. You can call the VSB and see if they will release figures.
From VSB web site:
[Internal Transfer](<a href=“VILLANOVA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS | Villanova University”>VILLANOVA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS | Villanova University)
Internal Transfer admission to the Villanova School of Business (VSB) is competitive. Typically each year the number of applications exceeds the number of students that can be accommodated. Admission decisions are based on your admission credentials and current academic record. Generally, these criteria must be comparable to those of students accepted as first year students in VSB.

it is very difficult to transfer to vsb from another college…for example, this year, only 2 or 3 transfers were allowed into vsb…it is far easier to transfer out of vsb than into it

when you say another college, you are referring to another college within Villanova, not just another university in general, correct?

correct, nova has 4 undergrad colleges: nursing, engineering, a&s and vsb

you worried me there for a second. I thought you had meant they only let in 2 or 3 from all of their transfers from other universities.

^That would be scary lol. Is there a reason why they only admit a few students?

I’m currently an incoming freshman, but is there any way before I enter to request to transfer to VSB?

the reason they only admit a few per semester to transfer into vsb is because it has more demand for the amount of spots it offers…for instance they dont want someone to come in as an arts major then decide to transfer to vsb when it suits them…as for your question about transferring before you show up here, its always possible…talk to your advisor and some people at vsb…its always possible, but the way it is beginning to shape up now ensures that it will be difficult if not impossible to transfer in. clear as mud?
