<p>I'm in to both. UMD - Scholars and ECE Honors program. VT - University Honors.
I live in MD and thus UMD will cost significantly less and that's why I'm leaning toward UMD.
I got a $1500 scholarship to UMD for one year and a $5000 scholarship to VT for one year, both non-renewable. EVen so, UMD is cheaper. I am going to be visiting Tech this saturday and is there any aspect of tech that will make me want to got here over UMD that I should look into? THey seem pretty comparable, but I have more friends going to UMD, which is a plus.</p>
<p>I would go to UMD if it's considerably cheaper.</p>
