<p>I want to be a meteorologist, and I kind of just realized that VT doesnt have a program in that or anything really related. I know meteo. is kind of a rare major and its only offered at one of my schools (psu) but the others schools i applied to have majors in related fields (environmental science with a concentration in atmospheric science at udel and earth science at gmu) But at tech the closest thing i saw is environmental science but with no good concentrations. is envs at tech closely related enough or should i go somewhere else? or what about geography? is that any closer?</p>
<p>didn't you have to pick a major and an alternate major when you applied to VT? what did you pick as a major at VT? did you decide on meteorologist late?</p>
<p>i dont really know what i did. I know i picked envs becuase i got the program confused with udel's and i think geography was my alt.</p>
