VT linens catalog, how does it work?

Yesterday we received a catalog from Tech with linens that you can buy through them. We are going to do it, because the price is incredibly cheap (The 199 package), however, my concern is parking around the dorms is bad enough, but now we will have to go to another building to pick up the linens. Can someone tell me if this building is walking distance or how the system works?

BTW, if you did not get the catalog, they guarantee the linens until graduation. PLUS, the amount they throw in can’t be beat even at Bed Bath and Beyond with their 20% coupon.

This is the 199 collection:

The Complete Campus Collection

2 extra-long flat sheets
2 extra-long fitted sheets
4 standard pillow cases
2 extra-fluffy pillows
1 extra-long reversible comforter
1 extra-long thermal cotton blanket
1 extra-soft fleece throw
1 extra-long quilted mattress pad
1 extra-long egg crate pad
2 all-cotton bath towels, 27" x 50"
2 matching cotton hand towels
2 matching cotton wash cloths
2 oversized bath sheets
1 pop-open hamper
1 underbed storage solution
1 bedside buddy

FYI on their site https://www.rhl.org/vat-store

They also offer a sewing kit for 4.99.
Zippered case loaded with buttons, snaps, needles, pins and 12 colors of thread, plus scissors and seam-ripper.

You can’t beat that price!

In all honesty that seems like way to much stuff for one dorm bed. I just payed 25 bucks at bed bath and beyond for a linen that included the cover, sheet, and comforter and that was enough to do the hob.

^ That was going to be my aim. Girls would probably want more, though.

Yeah, and yuo don’t really want an egg crate pad either. I mean, they’re ok and certainly better than nothing, but a memory foam mattress makes ALL the difference. Get one that’s about 3 inches thick and the dorm beds will be downright comfortable.

How is the quality of the bedding set?

Details
what about this?

Eh, I’d be wary about buying from the RHL thing. There aren’t any stats (density, thickness, etc.) listed on the memory foam so I’d assume it’s the cheapest available.

Now if you were to buy something like this ([Slumber Solutions 2-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper | Overstock.com](<a href=“Bed Bath & Beyond | The Best Deals Online: Furniture, Bedding, Rugs, Kitchen Essentials & Moree”>Bed Bath & Beyond | The Best Deals Online: Furniture, Bedding, Rugs, Kitchen Essentials & Moree)) in the largest bed size (they all cost the same) you could double it over and have 4 inches (good) of four pound density (good) memory foam for a pretty good price.

do you mean kings size and fold it into half? It looks awesome btw; i’m seriously considering buying one.

Yeah. You’ll lose a little bit of width, and make sure you buy larger sheets so that you can still get them around the pad and mattress, but it’s so, so, so, so worth it. I still use the memory foam toppers even though I’m on decent beds now.
