VT is instate at around 30k an UPitt is 50K for me. They are both strong programs and I was wondering if anyone had any experience they could share as to which they prefer. I like that UPitt is in a city which should provide more research opportunities and that it will have more things to do, but I don’t know if that’s worth 20K more. VT is (I think) the first to have a College of Neuroscience and I’ve found it to be interesting while Pitt has a very well-known (?) and old Neuro Department.
Which would you pick and why?
Thank you in advance!
Side Note: I was offered Georgia Tech’s Art and Sciences Pathways program to transfer to their school after freshman year. It’s not even a consideration now because I have to get through freshman year first, but I’d love to hear thoughts on their Neuroscience Department as well.
