Vt transferring to Umich

Please chance me:

I'm currently a math major at Virginia Tech trying to transfer to University of Michigan (LSA). I had a 4.2 GPA in highschool with 4 AP classes my senior year (AP English, AP AB Calc-5 on test, AP Chemistry-4 on test, AP Government). GPA through high school increased by .2 or more a year, and I picked up an extra AP/Seminar course each year (so difficulty + grades went up through all 4 years).

SAT's:
Reading:580
Math: 740
Writing: 640 (5 on essay)

SAT2's:
Chemistry: 640
Math: 720

Since coming to Virginia Tech, I took 14 credits last semester and got 3 A's and 2 A-'s (3.87 GPA), pledged a fraternity which took up a TON of my time but I was very involved within my pledge class and the fraternity itself I also worked with VTU which is in charge of putting on all the concerts here at tech.

I applied to U of M as a Senior in high school and I've always wanted nothing more than to be a Wolverine. I was deferred and then wait listed, but nothing came of it...

What are my chances? THANKS YOU TO ANYONE THAT RESPONDS!

bumparooooooooo

:( this thread gets no love. last try I guess...Bump

lucky for you michigan adjusts the grades. you have a 4.0 by michigan standards. you'll get in

Can Michigan justify turning away a 4.0 student though? I spent days on the application essays, and I've been unbelievably active in college, especially within my fraternity...Is that enough that I can justify booking a plane ticket to go visit one last time before officially deciding to go there?

Can anyone gimme advice on how sure I can be? Every time I think about my application to Michigan (especially after being deferred, WL'ed, and ultimately rejected), I nearly throw up due to anxiety...It's my dream school, and I don't know where I stand, although I feel like I should be a "Definite yes"

Anyone able to gimme a more little insight?
