VT vs. JMU vs Clemson

I was just wondering on your thoughts between these schools. Their all very similar, and a usual set to apply to for average students on the Middle Atlintic coast. Just give me your opinion on which is the best. (I have been accepted into theses schools and have made my choice already)

clemson. VA tech's too dangerous adn jmu's not well known

How about if your in state for virginia?

Clemson from what I have seen is a very up-and-coming school, with a solid reputation particularly in Engineering. It is tucked into a little corner of SC that is a long way from anywhere, but the people I know who have gone there have been very pleased and satisfied by the experience. But if it were me and I were Virginia in-state, finances would rule Clemson out unlike I got some kind of scholarship.
Between Va Tech and JMU, a big question is what field you want to pursue. Va Tech I think is your only choice if you are looking at engineering, and is overall probably stronger in the physical sciences. Overall, it will have more specialized and professionally-oriented programs. It also has better national name recognition. JMU has also been coming up in terms of comprehensiveness and name recognition recently, but it has an institutional history as a teacher's college and that may be hard to shake in some people's minds.
All this having been said, if I was sure I was going for some "typical" liberal arts field offered at both JMU and VT, the choice would be where you get the best feel for the campus, students and overall quality of life. JMU is smaller, which is maybe better for an undergrad; although Harrisonburg is actually larger than Blacksburg, it is in the heart of a very religious area of Virginia and is a pretty staid and quiet place compared to Blacksburg; you must decide which you actually prefer.
If it were me I'd pick Tech, but both are good choices.

If this helps, the major i would choose would be between biology, chemistry, or biochemistry

Chose VT, thanks alot guys

Good choice - I would have done the same. Clemson is a bit too conservative for me.
