Let’s see. Prior to the WC, Spain had lost 1 of their last 40 or so international games, the shock upset to the U.S. They had a perfect qualifying run (10-0-0) and La Liga is arguably the best domestic league in the world at the moment. Spain’s squad consists of 7 Barca players who just won a Champions League in 09 and 5 RMA players. I’d say those are pretty good reasons to choose Spain as a favorite.</p>
