<p>On one of the last pages of the tax return, there is a W-2 summary, which neatly lists out all the info on the original W-2. Can we send these into colleges? Or do colleges want a copy of the original W-2 form, which I think is a hassle, because the originals are keypunched in shapes. </p>

I know it is a very dumb question, but can i just make a copies of W2 form and enclose it with the fin aid apps?
I am an international student started working on campus this year, so it is my first time receiving W2 form. Do they accept copies? or do i have to get new one from my employer?</p>

<p>You cannot send w-2 forms with the Profile. </p>
<p>If you are filling out the international student aid form, you cannot send w-2 forms with that.</p>
<p>You need to send the w-2 forms ONLY IF the college requests or requires them. If they require them, there will be info on the website telling you where to send them. If they request them at any point, they will also tell you where to send them. If your college(s) use IDOC, IDOC will tell you where to send them.</p>
<p>NO…you shouldn’t just send them with the applications UNLESS it is a college specific application form that requires that the w-2 forms be included.</p>
