W and Repeat

I was taking an Accounting aclass over summer, online. I was taking it with a couple of other classes and it was kicking my butt. I ended up dropping the course with a W. Now, I know that Ws don't appear of transfer transcripts to UCs but they will show up when I apply to grad school. Now, if I wanted to retake this class in the fall, would it be indicated on my transcript in some way? Should I retake the class or just let it be and take another class instead?

PS I'm an econ major if it helps.

Who said W’s don’t show up on transfer transcripts to UCs? They do. Anyway, to answer your vague question, which I assume you are referring to graduate schools being able to tell whether or not you had a W, even if you decided to retake that class over, the answer would be yes. Should you retake this class? That depends on how important this class is for your field. But I would not take it if you are not confident about getting a good grade in it. Bye.
