@williams2021 Well I got waitlisted at W&L so I don’t think I can choose it. I am still waiting for my Stanford’s decision though, but it is basically Williams vs Stanford.

Not a good day for results for my daughter yesterday but she seems very happy with the choices she has so far. Yesterday, waitlisted at W & L, waitlisted at Lehigh, and accepted to American but only for Spring 2018. She has been accepted to Rutger (honors), UDel (honors), Gettysburg (highest scholarship), Loyola (highest scholarship), Dickinson (scholarhship), Rensselaer (scholarship), TCNJ (scholarship), and Villanova. Rejected to Johns Hopkins, UVA. Still waiting to hear from UPenn (legacy twice) and George Washington. ACT: 30, Class Rank: 6/550, very well rounded with tons of EC including theatre and MVP of varsity sports team.

@levin67 W&L does not give out loans as financial aid. Is it that your parents are well-off but aren’t paying for your tuition? That’s a hard spot to be in.
@froshkiddo W&L clearly does give out loans as financial aid. And no, my family is middle class and my parents are doing their best to contribute to my tuition. But hey, this way I can pay back student loans for the rest of my life so some poor diversity candidates can afford their tuitions.
