W&M Early Assurance with VCU and EVMS

Hi, everyone.

I'm currently a senior applying to colleges, and recently received a LL from W&M. I'll likely pursue medical school after undergrad, and in a discussion with a family friend the other day, W&M's early assurance program was brought to my attention. I wasn't previously aware that this existed, but couldn't find very much information about the program, so I have a few questions for anyone who might be able to answer them.

Does the program even still exist? I couldn't find very much information at all, which was surprising considering how well-publicized programs like this usually are.

How competitive is it? How many students are accepted? Is there a certain type of student that they target?

Anything is appreciated!

Yes, we have early assurance programs with EVMS and MCV. If you type “early assurance” into the search box on W&M’s website the first link returned in the search links to a Word document outlining the programs. Generally each school will admit up to 15 students each year into the early assurance program.
