W&M ED: Am I ready for it?

Okay, well, I filled out all the general info on my common app today and plan to get working on the common app essays in the next few days (waiting for the supplement to open...and I need my questions answered about the art supplement)

I have chosen to apply ED, but I want to make sure I'm not fooling myself into thinking I've got this easily.

So, how's it looking? (And does anyone know anything about the Art Supplement?)

Where are you from?
VA- yes, maybe if NOVA
OOS- maybe I would take the SAT.

My main concern would be for you to take the SAT.

Judging from what you say about “UVA Japan Day,” I’m guessing you’re from Virginia.

If so, I would be decently confident you would get in if you do ED. A 32 ACT/4.0UW GPA index is pretty solid, especially from in-state.

Also since your school “rarely send grads to top schools,” I’m guessing you’re not from Nova…this also helps.

i think you have a good shot

Oh sorry, yeah, I’m in-state, from the eastern boonies… ><

Wow, I forgot a lot of stuff…

Rank: 5/82 (Top 6.1%)
Recs: I anticipate good recs
Writing Ability: I hope this is good, seeing as I intend to major in English/Creative Writing.

And I’m not using my SAT score for anything. It’s horrible.

That’s kind of the position I am in too with the SAT score. You should be fine though because you are in state. May I ask what county?

i got in with lower scores and being from NoVA so i’d say you have a good shot for sure

Tell me if you get in!

looks good!!! go for it!!!

i would absolutely go for it

Oh, I’ll be spreading it all over CC if I get in. xD

Yeah, I just suck at the SAT. The ACT is a much better test for the way I work. =3

Hopefully, with my scores, shown interest (ED and interview), plus good recs and essays, it will be a good shot.
