Hey guys! Decisions for ED1 are coming out pretty soon! 
Do you think they’ll come out on Nov. 29th or Dec. 6th? Good luck to everyone!
My guess is Dec 6. I don’t think the Admissions office will be open the day after Thanksgiving.
I am guessing later rather than earlier. What’s the official promise?
The official “word” is early December, so I’m guessing the 6th. But it sure would be fun to find out sooner!! Good luck, applicants!

You will probably get more information by looking at past postings, especially around the time decisions came out in past years.
I emailed the admissions office, and they said the latest by mid-December. Pretty vague but better than nothing.
But someone in the 2022 ED thread said that WM has released decisions on the first Friday of December for the past 10 years. Fingers crossed!
W&M Admissions Facebook page just posted that they will be releasing decisions Friday!

Anyone else keeping an eye on UVA’s activity? They announced that their ED decisions are coming out on Friday as well. I don’t think they’ve done an announcement in advance like this (they usually just announce the day of), so I’ll say they’re copying W&M 
My daughter applied Early Action to UVA and Early Decision I to W&M, so W&M is her absolute first choice. But, there seems to be a pattern among her classmates, that, if they don’t get ED UVA, they’ll apply ED II to W&M. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if W&M’s ED II pool is a lot of UVA ED deferrals or denies. It’s such a zany game of chances and choices!

Has anyone received postcards or any other “good signs” as of today? I read that somewhere recently. It may have been on this board? Apparently in the past years, postcards were sent out.
From reading past blogs (when the W&M Admin blog was more active) likely postcards are not sent to Early Decision applicants because there is just not enough time. They are sent to regular decision applicants in late winter/early spring.
