W on Physics - UC Berkeley Comp Sci Transfer

<p>I'm currently taking an Introduction to Physics class (Physics 12) even though I passed my AP Physics test. After consideration, I think it'd be a better idea for me to drop this class (while getting a w) to hopefully enroll in a 8-week course for a higher-level Physics course. Will the W on my transcript affect my chances in being admitted to UC Berkeley? Keep in mind, I'm applying for Computer Science. Thanks y'all! </p>
