How do law schools view W's on your transcript? I have one so far and do not forsee any more W's, but no one knows what might happen. Do law schools somehow factor in W's in calculating their GPAs, and if they don't, how much of a negative factor will W's have on your chance for admission?

One or two don’t matter. I’ve spoken with many admissions officers about this.

Most law schools give you an opportunity to write a statement with your application that will explain anything you think that the admissions professionals should know about you. I would strongly suggest that you use that opportunity to explain any w’s on your transcript. If you do not explain them, you risk having your w’s become big question marks during the review of your law school application.
