<p>I posted this before, but wanted to add some other schools I'm considering to assess my chances for them.</p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>SAT I - 1390 (670 V, 720M)</p>

<p>SAT II - U.S. History 660
- Writing 700
- Math IC 610 (I know, bad)</p>

<p>GPA - 95.5% (for freshman year was about a 92, soph. 95, junior 98)</p>

<p>School doesn't rank, but last time I checked I was in top 12%.</p>

<p>7 AP courses, scored a 5 on U.S. History and Bio. </p>

<p>EC's</p>

<p>Varsity/JV Lacrosse (captain 10th grade)
Cello (solo)
Chamber Orchestra (1st Chair Cello)
Rock Band **(do they care about this? i wrote about it for my most significant activity short essay)

<p>High Honor Roll - 2 years, for having an average above 95.</p>

<p>Placed in Long Island Bridge Competition</p>

<p>Good recs, good essay</p>

<p>You have a good shot at the majority of those schools. As for the ones with asterix, yes, bother applying to those schools, you just may get in one of them.</p>

<p>i think you're well within reach of all the schools you've chosen, although brown, columbia and duke are larger reaches.</p>

<p>i would say (although i'm not an expert) that you're pretty much in fordham, skidmore, and oberlin. the rest are in the middle, and like i said before, columbia, and duke are harder to get in, just like they are for the rest of us. =)</p>

<p>definitely apply to the * schools. it'll probably be hard to make all of them, but you'll probably get into at least one. don't give up! =)</p>
