<p>My son is a first year at UVA and he is so happy there. It wasn’t originally where he thought he would go but he is so glad he made that decision. And the best part for us, my daughter got in today!</p>

<p>My DS was not accepted, but he is fine with that; he had his heart set on another school where he is already in. I believe most people will end up in the right place, whether they realize it initially or not.</p>

My first son is a year away from the decision day, yet I couldn’t help but feel the excitement, and anxiety, those of you were experiencing as this day drew near for all of you. I am very happy for you. For rooting for you, I do ask one thing in return, please return to the UVA boards after you have been in school for a few months to let us know how the experience is going.</p>
