Waht!??? I Dont Get This

okay... so im applying to harvard

and harvard has this supplement that you can fill out on the Commonapp website....

so i filled that out, and im ready to submit it.

my question is.... will submitting my supplement on hte commonapp website mean that im also submitting my commonapplication?

also, if harvard ASKS me to please send in my supplement by dec 1st, but the commonapp checklist says that it's not due till jan 1st, what do i make of it?

Harvard isn't an "All in 1" school, so you can submit the supplement, then submit the application later.

so... you didn't really answer my Q

dgfdgdfgdfgdfgfd

I believe the rule is that if you submit the supplement via common app, you will eventually have to submit the application via common app as well, not necessarily at the same time. So basically when you submit the supplement you have not yet submitted the application (does this answer the question?) but it means that you WILL have to.

The December 1st mark is just a preference, not an actual deadline which is January first. You won't get punished for waiting until January, but it probably might help to submit it beforehand.
