Wait... Breadth Courses?!?!

Can you take two classes from the same department to fulfill different breadths? I took Classics 28 this semester to fulfill philosophy and I really want to take Classics 10A next semester for history breadth. I just saw this on the breadth guidelines: "You may not use more than two courses offered by any one department."

Does anyone know this rule for sure? I always thought that you had to take a course from different departments.

You can take two from the same department, but not three. L&S anyway.

legit.

you can take three or more, of course, just can’t use them to count for more than two breadth requirements.
