<p>Relax. For "need-aware" schools, it may have some effect if you're a borderline candidate, and need significant aid. If you don't need a lot of aid, it will make little difference.</p>
<p>But in the end, if you need aid, you need aid. Let's say that checking Yes makes a difference. But how would it help you not to check the FA box? Then they accept you, don't give you any aid, and you can't afford to go anyway. What good does that do?</p>
