Respectfully, could you give the source of your information? It’s customary to either post a link or at least name the source when it involves something like this.

So sorry for my absence. I clearly need to investigate blogging via an iphone or ipad.

An email went out to all students who remained on the waiting list yesterday to let them know that we’ve finished the process.

Dean J – you are the BEST!! Congratulations – hope you enjoyed your time away from the message boards ;)

Hi Dean J, it is sad that though the class is not full yet UVA has closed the waitlist because W&M did it, and that is the reason still no numbers are published by UVA. I feel sorry for the students who could have got in but missed because things are not transparent.

An email went out to all students on the waiting list a few weeks ago. I’m not sure what else I can say at this point.

The class is full. This was in the email [and posted on my blog](Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process: The Class of 2016 is Full).

I’ve been clear about what waiting list students should do and we gave them all FAQs as well. Can you explain further? What was not clear?

As for numbers, I’ve been a little busy and continue to be. We are still working with the transfer class. We haven’t had time to be concerned with what William & Mary has been doing. Our processes are completely independent.
