Does anyone know how many have been placed on the wait list class of 2019
Dear Massmom2015 : I realize that you asked for 2019 data, but here are some statistics from the class of 2018 which might help you understand the percentages and chances.
From approximately 6,000 students offered wait list spots, 3,218 accepted a wait list position. Reported numbers are that 280 were ultimately taken from the wait list.
Once I see data (or sources) quoting 2019 information, I will provide further updates.
Dear Massmom2015 : I would also suppose that you are familiar with the general data (consistent with the Class of 2018 information) which is available on the Boston College web site.
Dear Massmom2015 : Again, some data for the Class of 2019 dated March 26th, 2015. It was reported at that time that 1,200 wait list spots had already been accepted.

To all students on the wait list: We will be using the wait list sparingly this year, but will not know the extent to which we will use it for 2-3 weeks. We will strive to resolve our waiting list by the end of May.

Dear Friends : Earlier this evening, I was speaking with an associate inside the admissions circle for Boston College who asked for anonymity. The number that was being discussed was “less than two dozen” pulls from the waitlist. While that figure could change, I did want to share with the community just how sparingly the waitlist will be used.
As we posted in the larger waitlist thread, the state from @scottj and an “anonymous source” is untrue. Specific number of students to be offered from the waitlist have not been determined.
