<p>I’m headed to Duke next year if Princeton doesn’t work out. So is anyone calling today to ask how many more people they’re going to accept from the waitlist?</p>
<p>Well, I’d love to be going to UC Berkeley, but the finaid they gave me was crap. Can’t afford anything close to the cost, so for now I’m going to Rice U for about 12k per year.</p>

I am a parent, so I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to call, and my son is concerned he may have already bothered them too many times with too many emails and extra recommendations.</p>

<p>Thanks! I got the call at around 1:30 pm yesterday. I don’t know of anyone else who got a call, but from what I have read on this site, Princeton will not be doing waitlist admissions in waves anymore. </p>
<p>As far as how I pursued the waitlist, I sent them a letter of interest along with a graded essay from 11th grade.</p>
