does anyone know how difficult it is to get off the wait list at chicago? i’m also wondering about the social scene. i really really love the school but i know it has a rep for not being very fun. is there any way to party while at the school? also any gay scene? thanks

This year it’s probably going to be pretty difficult as they accepted more. Be proactive and track down your regional rep. Continued expression of interest is very important now.
D was one of perhaps 20 got off the waitlist in 2010 out of about 2000. So, when you got off the list ask those culture questions again. Don’t hold your breath for Chicago,
