I am currently on the waiting list for UC Santa Cruz and I have committed to San Jose State. If I get accepted to UC Santa Cruz I’d likely go there. How would I let San Jose State know that I will not be attending anymore? And does it look bad on my part to decommit?
You would send an email to admissions or you can call to withdraw from SJSU if you are accepted off UCSC’s waitlist and want to attend. No, it will not look bad if you change your mind take the waitlist opportunity. You will however, lose your enrollment deposit at SJSU.
