I was wait listed from SDSU with a bio major. I have a 3.58 w gpa and a 1600 SAT. I'm in their service area, living 15 minutes away. Is there any way to call and appeal them? I have friends with 3.2s getting in with a lower SAT that me. I took the ACT in December and got a 27, but they said they'd only take scores before December :/ Should I talk to their admissions? I also got early admission to Fullerton, so I'm not sure if I should confirm with Fullerton if SDSU takes til after May 1. Help please! Thanks!

Buuuuuuump. Can someone please let me know?

there’s no way to call and physically appeal… you have to go through their appeals process and write a letter explaining your circumanstace or reason why you feel like they should re-evaluate your denied admission. it has to be within 30 days of their decision however. follow this website for the steps:

very good article on how to get off any college wait list.

Remember, Chances of getting off the wait list are not very high so submit your intent to enroll to Fullerton before the deadline. They will ask you to pay a deposit when you do so as collateral. Worst case scenario if SDSU does let you in, you can still accept but you loose the deposit (about 400$).
