WAIT-LIST ON UMN

I have been put in the wait-list for University of Minnesota, Twin cities for UG program. Like many of you UMN was my first choice. Can I know what are my chances of making it off of the wait-list and getting an offer of admission?

I had applied for Biomedical Engineering as my first choice and Computer Science as my second. My SAT score is 1820; critical reading: 480, mathematics: 690 and writing: 650, and my TOEFL score is 102/120. I bagged 5th position in 11th grade and 2nd position in my mid-terms of 12th grade. I have received the International Award for Young People.

Should I wait for UMN's response till April 15 or should accept the offer of admission offered by other universities that I had applied to?

Also, I had applied to Rutgers and SUNY Stony Brook and I got into both of them under Biomedical Engineering so, for which one should I choose? Which one is better given the location of the two and my major?

Thank you.

@abusygirliam001‌ , I know this is an old post, but would you mind share, did you finally offer admission to university of Minnesota? My son also got waiting list for fall 2015, just wondering, how did it turn out with you, thank you for sharing
