I have been put in the wait-list for University of Minnesota, Twin cities for UG program. Like many of you UMN was my first choice. Can I know what are my chances of making it off of the wait-list and getting an offer of admission?

I had applied for Biomedical Engineering as my first choice and Computer Science as my second. My SAT score is 1820; critical reading: 480, mathematics: 690 and writing: 650, and my TOEFL score is 102/120. I bagged 5th position in 11th grade and 2nd position in my mid-terms of 12th grade. I have received the International Award for Young People.

Should I wait for UMN's response till April 15 or should accept the offer of admission offered by other universities that I had applied to?

Also, I had applied to Rutgers and SUNY Stony Brook and I got into both of them under Biomedical Engineering so, for which one should I choose? Which one is better given the location of the two and my major?

Thank you.
