Just thought you all might like to know, but they have started called for those on the waitlist.

I got a call today! :]

Good luck everyone!

I got a call today! :]

Good luck everyone!

Just got the call too!
Good luck everyone, keep your hopes up!

What if they call you but nobody is home? Do they leave a message?

*Sorry, about the typo. haha. Anyone know how to edit it?

And, yes they do leave a message. I was called on my cell phone and my home phone, messages were left on both.

Was the message talking about you being on the waitlist or you being pulled off it?

I’m pretty sure they’re talking about getting off the waitlist, since everyone found out if they were waitlisted on April 1st when all the decisions came out. I’m curious as to how many people got off today, since there’s only two so far here on CC.

well 2 on collegeconfidential is actually a lot considering how few get off…

Yes, it was about getting off.

My daughter had a missed call from yale on her cell and then the home phone 1 minute later but no message. Do they always leave a message?

You know, if Yale is trying to get ahold of you, and you’re on the Waitlist, I’d venture to think they’re probably calling with good news.

Do they just call or send an email as well?

Well, after I had gotten a call and talked with amdissions,

an e-mail was later sent from the same lady who called. I wouldn’t be worried if not message was left. MSauce is right, if they called, it’s probably a good thing.

I didn’t get an email but was told that my eli account would be changed to accepted by monday and they would be sending mail out then too.

Bluecoast! Congratulations!

Right now, I wish I had you luck…:P

I got a call and an e-mail, but no message. The e-mail said that the admission rep had a “quick question” about my application. “How would you like to go to Yale?” was the best quick question I’ve ever heard!

I just got a call!!!

my eli account was already changed today! :)

Congrats to all of the accepted students. My son had accepted Yale’s offer during regular decision process.

@dan92 - Congratulations!! There’s some hope for the HYP WLers.

Meanwhile, I’ll keeping hoping for my phone to light up.

Any news about HYPSM class of 2014 yield rates?
