<p>Still waiting, I had my bro stop in the admissions office on Friday, and they said they weren't sure when they would announce wait list decisions.</p>

<p>I got an email about six hours ago saying decisions will be out today and about 30 students are going to be selected!!!! Best of luck to all of you!!</p>

<p>I got it from MIT, they said it will be out later today, but it's getting late, maybe tomorrow, but soon enough.</p>

<p>I dunno if I should post the exact message but it said that decisions would be mailed today. They intend to select around 30 students and hold around 50-75 and deny the rest. It also said that all decisions would be made today. I dunno if that is a sign, cuz I got it as a reply to an email I had sent weeks ago. So perhaps not, but I wish!</p>

<p>Nah it ain't coming out today I bet. In the MIT blogs several people called and the secretaries kept saying that it won't come out today.</p>

<p>Last week, Matt blogged the wait list news at about 7-8 p.m. Pacific Time.. so about 10-11 Eastern Time.. So it could still come out today..</p>

<p>I think it makes sense for them to call people in the evening. That way they won't miss people who are at track/other extra-curricular after school activities.</p>
