probably no one has experience with this but if u do. i got wait listed by my number 1 school i know im dissappointed. but i really want to go there got into my number 2. now if anyone has any experience with this how does it work? i understand u get in if people dont accept there offers but when do u find out and other info will be great..

It’s been known to be a long process, but if your waitlisted at your number one school that’s not so well, if your number 2 school is just as good then you should probably attend there.

You’re given the option to remain on School #1’s waitlist. If slots open up, they can be calling people as late as August – some offers made be made early, some later – there is no set schedule as it depends on the number of rejected offers they receive.

What you should do is to accept your slot in School #2 without any expectation of a call from #1. If and when #1 calls you, then you can decide to remove yourself from #2. School #2 will understand. You will of course, lose any deposits you would have made to #2 in the meanwhile.

Regardless, congrats on #2.
