I applied to arts and sciences and got in this wave
I didn’t write a letter of appeal, but I had a teacher from a first semester class this year send in an additional letter of rec, which I think helped a lot

Still waiting on the fin aid package. Anyone else also get the “Congratulations from Vanderbilt University!” email but no fin aid one?

i applied arts & sciences and did not do anything at all after i was waitlisted… surprised i got in so quickly

I would really appreciate one of those phone calls…

ERRR! I need to know fin aid package now!

My D also got a call early on the 5th but still no fin aid info…

im just curious. but how many of you who were pulled from the waitlist are minorities?

Any news? A friend of my daughter really want to get off of the waitlist, and she is anxious waiting some good news from Vandy.

Anyone from the south (non-URM) get a call for Arts and Science?

yes…from sc…into the college

A phone call from Vanderbilt admissions would be very much appreciated!

has anyone from TN gotten a call yet?

anyone from texas yet???

did anyone get a financial aid package with their acceptance letter?

No financial aid letter here…in fact, after getting the phone call last Wednesday, we haven’t received any letter or email at all. Does anyone know if they are still need blind when they open up the wait list?

yes. everyone admitted off the waitlist will receive the same benefits as those admitted RD

So last week Vandy called some off the waitlist. Just from info gathered here on CC, most everyone was from the midwest and most were engineering majors. (There were a couple on the west coast and one from the southeast.) It doesn’t appear as though they’ve called many at all. Does anyone know how many have actually been called, and has anyone heard when or even if they’ll be calling more? Unfortunately, our state is typically over-represented; however, my D hasn’t given up hope just yet. She is, though, starting to get excited about the school where she chose to deposit, so I guess it’ll all be fine regardless of the outcome.

A friend from my school got off the waitlist. (KY)
