Wait listed at Vanderbilt class 2023

Got in at 3PM from northern virginia! Don’t give up hope guys :slight_smile:

So is the next wave out?

@PolarSB congrats! What major did you apply and how’s the financial aid?

I applied as an asian studies major :slight_smile: financial aid is super good (price is about the same as the in-state school im committed to rn)

My dd got accepted Friday night for biomedical eng with very good financial aid.

@mango1980 wow congrats!

homerdog, in answer to your question re ED stats for non-legacy, non-athletic recruit admits, my son got in ED1 a year ago (class of 2022), with a 4.8 GPA, 35 ACT, 800 SAT2 Math II, 770 Chem, class rank of 1 out of 489, 11 APs (I think five 7s and four 4s). The leadership and extracurricular list is long so I’m just including the stats, as requested. At any rate, it’s a brutal process and I feel for everyone going through it. I hope the info I provided is helpful.

Wow! It’s been quiet. Has anyone heard anything about waitlist?

It sure has been. If they’re filling anywhere close to 10% of their class from the waitlist this year, you’d think at least a few of those folks would share the good news here…

Heard from my D’s friend who is waitlisted in Vandy. It is almost over (not complete though) … They admitted a few from the last wave. They will admit a few more if handful number of students give up enrolling to Vandy (maybe admitted to other schools off the waitlist). The process will end mid of July.

Hi,
I got waitlisted also and I can not find my letter. Is there any way you could send me a copy of the “waitlist” letter? You can black out all of your personal info, of course. I would really appreciate it. Thank you! Can send to: tammyjane@bellsouth.net
