I'm on the wait list at Dartmouth, and I've been checking online for the past month to see if there has been a decision made.

Today when I logged on, instead of the first link saying "undergraduate applicant menu" or something like that, it changed to "undergraduate prematriculation menu." This seems to imply that the student has been accepted, but has not yet indicated 'yes' or 'no.' Does this mean anything? Is this a universal change?

I called the admissions office (today is Wednesday, June 1), and they said that no wait list decisions have been made yet; I'm thinking that they might have made some decisions, but the letters haven't been mailed yet.

don't know, but for your sake i hope you are correct.

mine appears the same too...
i hope this means something good

i called the admissions office today (JUNE 2nd) and someone told me
that the waitlist decision is "now happening" -- which means that all
waitlisted students will hear of their final candidacy on Dartmouth by the
end of this week or early next week.

lets keep our fingers crossed!!!

do you get an email if you dont get off?

i think they will e-mail you whatever the result is..
(at least i think this is what i heard from Dartmouth..)

I grew so impatient with this waitlist process, i called the undergraduate admissions office today.

I asked about the subtle change on my account (applicant menu -> prematriculation menu) and they told me that waitlisted student will
only be notified by e-mail within the next week.

So, waitlisted students will not be able to check our status on line.

I guess there is no reason to be overjoyed just becuase i have the
"undergraduate prematriculation menu" on my account...sigh...

well...I guess i should wait a few more days..helplessly...T__T
