Do wait listed students, if accepted, have a chance for financial aid? I know that it varies from school to school, and that most schools do not offer financial aid for students who earn admissions. Does anyone know what Dartmouth's policy is?

Honestly, I’m not even sure what to do. This is obviously my number one choice, and part of me thought I might be better off just re-applying next year. But this article ([College Waitlists: How to Get in When You?re Waitlisted - The Daily Beast](The Daily Beast: The Latest in Politics, Media & Entertainment News)) got me thinking… apparently there are ways to “nudge yourself” into acceptance. IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?

My son was previously admitted off the waitlist to Dartmouth and did receive financial aid.

This is all kinds of late, but you do get financial aid. :)
