Hey guys, so I am very fortunate to have been accepted to Brown (LL), Dartmouth, Duke, Rice and am in a couple of full-ride merit competitions. However, I was wait-listed to Harvard, Stanford and Columbia Fu. Denied to the other Ivies.

I would very much like to get off the wait-list for Harvard, Stanford and Columbia. Stanford and Harvard are my top if I am fortunate enough to be picked off of the wait-list. What are your suggestions to do this?? I'm writing letters to send the schools about the wait-list. Also, what are my chances of getting off the waitlist of each school or off any of the three?

Concerning Columbia, I applied to arts and sciences although my app is half and half engineering and liberal arts (I do a lot with both). I also never got the chance to interview with Columbia (no interviewer alum in the area I think. I love interviews too). Additionally, my father went to Columbia (no idea if that's important in any of this).

Here's my chance me thread from a while ago if needed/wanted:

(also, for Columbia, I only sent my world history and us history subject tests with my sat)

Any advice would be much appreciated. Let me know!! Thanks!
