Wait listed?

So has anyone been contacted by the admissions office yet at all?

nope no response. im pretty sure they do not respond to the letters regarding the waitlist thing. but not long now until we all find out…

seems like the decisions are in for the waitlisted…goodluck guys

I think I’m in…

“Congratulations, you have been selected for admission to Cal Poly pending your meeting the following Terms and Conditions. Click on the link for further information. Terms and Conditions”

But, there’s no SIR to click on… the terms and conditions also say I have to accept by tomorrow…

are most of the people on the waiting list transfers?

to see whether they changed the status do they email you. im having a hard time getting through to website

“You have not been selected for admission to Cal Poly.”

Thats all folks!

what was your major banshee??
I got the same message too…

civil engineering

3.83

statics, calc 1-4, graphics, physics 1-3, speech, english,… chemistry… had every requirement fulfilled except materials (which i listed as in progress) and surveying cause my cc doesnt offer it. Also rejected by sdsu uc davis and berkeley. Looks like i wont be going to school at all this fall.

maybe i can get into itt tech

■■■

well that gotta suck… do you know anyone that got in from your major?

you have not been selected for admission to cal poly.

banshee beat, i offer my sympathies. i did not get into sdsu either. luckily i got into my back easily. eff cal polys selection process.

Well, I got into cal poly off the waitlist only to turn the offer down (sadly). It was a tough choice, but I ended up choosing ucsd instead. Also this was for mechanical engineering, which was the most impacted major on campus from what I understand.

Thanks everyone for the advice, and for future applicants: the letter thing worked. I would only go through with it if you are 100% sure you want to go though, as the anticipation and trouble of going through the whole process was kind of a drag.
