That's just not right

Lol, did you see the thread about the “Christian Side Hug” rap / video?

No, but I’ve seen the video. Hilarious.

Though I go to Catholic school…we hug everyone

My middle school banned basically all touching. i got detention for kissing this girl and the principal sat us down and said “we give kids detention for hugging so obviously we’re going to have to punish you.”

weird 10char

Blame the GOP

people practically **** in our hallways. subpar public high schools ftw!

I find it hilarious that the Christian Side Hug rap uses gun shots as beats.

If a girl walks up with her arms spread wide
Front hug bound with that look in her eye
You better turn to the side, pat her on the back
Jesus never hugged NOBODY LIKE THAT!

Lol. This almost seems like a joke, I don’t know any Christians like this.

I go to a “subpar public high school” but you’re up the creek if a teacher sees you making bodily contact with another person in the hall, even if it’s just a brief hug between friends… and God forbid a custodian sees you… yeesh…

At my intermediate school, we had a dictatorial principal. He banned all forms of touching, especially hugging 7th and 8th grade (the nice principal moved up in the administration after 6th grade).

Now I’m in high school and our principal and vice principle are nothing like at the middle school. You can hug and hold hands and they don’t care.

If they catch you kissing, they’ll give you a warning and tell you it’s inappropriate, but that’s all unless you do it again.

People still basically make out sometimes in the hallway though. =P

It’s nothing like middle school. That was horrible. He kept adding restrictive rule after rule over and over. God, it was so irritating. Some of the rules were so stupid (like the hugging rule).

High school is way more lax…

…unless you’re a failing student and you violate the dress code…

(the principal is kinda discriminatory on that factor. Honor Roll students get by with dress code violations all the time…but low grade students? Not so much)

…or you have a library fine…

(We have record breaking library fines every year. Last year, there were almost 300 late books at the end of the year. Considering we have less than 400 students, that’s quite a feat.)

My school tries to ban PDA and stuff, but I still see people sucking face in the hallways. :/

Yeah, my high school is pretty relaxed too. There are students making out all the time and the monitors only stop it if it gets really intense or if the bell rings for class. But even then they’re basically just like “wrap it up and get to class.”

Sub-par public high schools! HUZZAH!

Though there are rules against PDA (think first base and up), I see couples huddled up by the stairs and in corners- even in the lunch room!- sucking face. It’s gross. I mean, have some self-respect. >.>

Its done in some colleges too, a la the famous Pensacola.

No ocular intercourse kids (gazing longingly into each others eyes.). You’ll get kicked out of Pensacola for that one.

Plattsburgh, I was going to say something about that, LOL! You beat me to it :(, oh well.
Anyhow, I’ve heard their rule against gazing too intensely is actually referred to as making eye babies! Ha.
