<p>We finished and submitted our tax return, and filed the FAFSA and CSS forms (for private schools as well as public) later in February. Now we have discovered we will need to make a minor amendment to our tax return (which should help us FA-wise very minimally).</p>
<p>Since we have not yet received any FA packages from schools under consideration, should we wait a bit to file the tax return (and FAFSA/CSS) amendment so as not to delay the FA offers? Or should we file the amendments immediately? Any input appreciated.</p>
