I was accepted to UVA ED and my dad told me i got an e mail telling me what to look forward to before april 1st when i would find out my admissions decision. um...is this just some email they send to everyone who ever applied regardless of whether or not they had been accepted already? I figured it was just one of those things but i wanted to check anyway.

My son was accepted ED, and he received the same email.

We didn't get an email, but my S (who was accepted ED) noticed when he posted his mid year grades that his acceptance no longer showed up in the place where they had posted it online and in its place was the standard message that decisions would be out on April 1. He called admissions and they said, yes they had his name and there wasn't any problem with his acceptance. He would be getting a package in February or early March. Personally, I think they should fix these glitches.

Thank you both! TheAnalyst, when your son sent in his grade report online did he just go to his online application and fill it out from there? And everything was ok from that if that is what he did? I was hesitant to do that because i wasn't sure what would happen, if it would be sent to an applicant pile or something. Also, it says that classes should be written as they are in transcript. I dib't exactly understand what that means- they should show up in the same order as they do on your transcript or something? I'm sorry i probably sound like a fool but I am a little confused. Thanks again :)

He filled out his grade report in his online application and wrote the full class name and indicated whether the class was honors or AP. He also called afterwards and they had already gotten his grades within 5 minutes. He filled it out in order starting with his first period class and ending with his 7th period class.

Thanks a lot! :)
