Can someone explain to me the ACT process of processing tests and posting results? It is crazy to me that we have to wait 2, 3, 4 weeks for results. With today’s technology, I don’t know why results can’t be posted within days. And why does ACT only post results on Wednesdays and Fridays? In my view, there is nothing more important that ACT has going on than processing test results and posting them promptly. So why can’t they post results every day? Maybe there is something I don’t know about the process, and I am happy to be enlightened, but right now I find it is very frustrating. Rant over.
I am not sure why they roll out results and not all on one day. My DS got his results on Tuesday (just waiting for writing) and others are still waiting. Not sure about your Wednesday/Friday comment, it was not the case for my DS. 10 days is pretty good, in my book. How about College Board taking 2+ months to send out AP scores and, currently, 6 weeks for SAT.
No excuse for SAT, in my opinion @phoenixmomof2. I do understand AP exams, though. My daughter’s history teacher scores the AP World exams, and he was not available to do so until the second week of June. I guess they have to wait for all the teachers to turn in their semester grades before they can get together to score AP exam essays. Excited to get those test results next week!
