It has been a long time waiting. But, I think it was worth it. It took a lot of the stress off of waiting for letters. Anyway, here are my predictions
Georgetown: deferred
UChicago: rejected
Fordham:accepted
Elon: accepted

Haven’t heard from

Maryland: accepted
UVa: rejected

Here’s to hoping for some pleasant suprized and to no unpleasant ones.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,
Rubbish

Haha. My name comes from a Jermey Clarkson quote, “ambitious, but Rubbish.”
Anyway. Got into Fordham and Elon with money. Got deferred from Chicago(!). Got deferred from Georgetown. In all, a Merry Christmas. The presents helped to cheer me up, as did the merit scholarships. Georgetown needs to rethink their letter, I understand that they want me to know that they knew my sister went there, but saying that I was not accepted despite my family ties was unnecessary. The whole letter was very self-congratulatory. Chicago’s deferral was nothing special, I hope that next round they think I am as good as a fit as I think I am. Elon had a great admission letter, Fordham’s was OK. The merit money from Fordham was a nice surprise, as was the fact that I got anything but the ashes of my application from Chicago.

I very much will. Some family is coming over, I’m sure they will be curious. My sister wanted me to go to Georgetown and her long term boyfriend went to Chicago, so he wanted to see me there. So, at least it removed that dynamic for the time being!
By the way, to anyone thinking about doing this, I highly recommend it! (unless all of your eggs are in one basket). It is either a good Christmas/chanukah/ect present or the holiday cheer softens the blow
