Waiting for College Decisions...

I feel like I’m losing my mind waiting for college decisions. Plus, some schools are super vague. I could essentially hear back from them at any time between now and April.

How do you all deal with these things? Any tips, advice, stories, etc.? I’m tired of obsessing over everything @-) :((

Simply don’t think about them. That’s what I did…

You can lose your mind, just make sure to find it before May so you can decide where you want to go

You could start figuring out when their accepted student visits are so you can stress over whether your calendar will work for them if you get in. (Students accepted ED often have info on this already if you can’t find it discussed on the college website or the threads out here). Or check old threads on when acceptances were released last year, andn project when they might come out this year.

You could develop a “fantasy admissions game” that you could start out on the Chances forum.

You could take a nap. Or read the Pusheen blog. Or shovel your neighbor’s driveway or walk (depending on where you live). Or plan your graduation party. Or make a list of places to apply for a job next summer.

@intparent‌ You piqued my interest. What exactly is this fantasy admissions game?

The waiting… the insufferable waiting! It’s been so long since I’ve killed a stormcloak, my sword arm’s getting flabby!

@Hawkace, there isn’t one that I know of. But I was thinking that some creative student with time on their hands now that their applications are done could create one, like fantasy football.

@intparent @Hawkace | Sounds like a fun game, lol. I wonder what would get drafted first - the 2100 SAT has potential, but the Student Council President might be better :stuck_out_tongue:
