Waiting for EA/ED decisions

Tinas - take a step back and breathe. Realize that ultimately you, not the school, will make you successful. If it is meant to be, it will be!

Just wondering, can anyone confirm the notification date for Brown? Dec. 12th? Dec. 15th? Pleeease? Heh.

really? thank you! that is so nice, everyone else is like "you're SAT scores are too crappy for JHU"

But if I do get in, I think it'll be because of my art. Because everything on my application its like "art"

One of my essays is on Art (id do art the entire day)

All my teachers mentioned my art in 3 recs

My bio teacher for three years put down on her eval that I'm one of the top few (concerning my creativity) shes met in her life

My art teacher wrote that my "creativity and critical thinking feed each" my favorite line!

I'm art advisor of about three clubs

I'm team leader of Oydessy of the mind, which is creativity based

I put down I would major in HIstory of Art

I took a piece of my art to my interview

To balance everything out, I wrote my second essay on science and I mentioned it in my art essay

I have 14 more days. eeeeekk! OMG! I'm so nervous, worried, and excited at the same time.

^^^^^^^That's amazing consistency and commitment...........

Who.... me?

NYU is soo vague on this...I like everything about the school except for that. They say "mid-december"...whatever the hell that means. Anyway the concensus on the NYU board seems to be December 13-December 20. Bring on the acceptance....I hope. :D

^ Sounds like a compliment to me. And I agree with comfy's statement - that is amazing consistency/commitment.

I'm applying ED for JHU too... nervous as heck! I had my alumni interview today. It lasted almost two hours, and was amazing. We hit it off really well, and now I'm even more excited/nervous to hear the verdict!

What? Two hours, mine last only 40 minutes. CRIES

But, I did show her a piece of my art and she wrote something about it ^__^ I hope it was good though.

I can't wait till December 15. It's the waiting that's killing me. I'm not going crazy about the actual decision. I know I will end up somewhere great, so that's not really the issue. WAITING SUCKS. TEENS DON'T HAVE PATIENCE. I wish they would hurry up.
1 1/2 months is a loong waiting period, especially because the admissions officers don't start making decisions until pretty late in the game. I think that colleges should get rid of interviews altogether because it's a waste of time--unnecessarily lengthens the waiting period.
I don't know, but sometimes I wonder if it would be good to get rid of EA altogether. Sometimes I think EA is terrible. But if I get in early, I will always be a supporter :D

I also can't wait.............My application reached REed today or they updated it today.......Another 15 days.......

12/7 for Columbia.

I'm going to try to get all my big assignments done one or two nights before in case I get too emotional Thursday night.

The good thing is that in the event of bad news, the Holiday Ball that Friday will cheer me up a bit.

UVA ED decisions out in 1 hour and 45 minutes...

Columbia posts decisions the SEVENTH!?!? That's so amazing

UVA decisions are evidently out now

Most of the colleges have winter holidays from Dec 14-15,so, won't the decision come before that???? like on Dec 13..............ANyone????????

bumpity bump............

w e h a v e e i g h t d a y s l e f t

g o o d l u c k t o a l l o f y o u

Yeah mine are the 15th also.
Good luck to you all!

My letter from UF comes on the 8th....so 2 days :|

NYU on the week of the 11th....seriously I can't even sleep, I've had horrible nausea all week, I've been having stomachaches, and frankly, I'm scared.
