Waiting for ED and EA applications

Ok so I just got into my #1 safety net business school, Penn State's Smeal College of Business! Now, I have to wait for my ED school, NYU, and EA school, Northeastern. I am just worried that Penn State might rescind its decision because I have waited another month and a half. What do you guys think I should do? Should I accept Penn State's offer or wait it out for my ED and EA school?

Unless you applied ED to Penn State (which would not be legal, considering you applied ED to NYU), they cannot rescind your offer for waiting. The know that if they were your top choice, you would have applied ED. They give you a chance to weigh your options. So, of course you should wait to hear from NYU and Northeastern.

Ok thanks jamesjunkers. Also, Penn State doesn’t have ED, only rolling admissions with an early deadline of November 15th. But yeah, I get your point. Thanks again and I will be waiting for NYU and Northeastern’s reply.

@devinlin1‌: However, has Penn State given you a financial deposit deadline and indicated that failure to provide the required deposit on time could invalidate your acceptance?

uhhhh no? I mean, I did not apply for financial aid… Does that invalidate my acceptance?

Or are you talking about something different? Where could I find this?

@devinlin1‌: No, post #3 has nothing whatsoever to do with financial aid. Rather, as I indicated, frequently when an individual is admitted to a university (Penn State, in your case), he must provide deposit check within a specified time or his acceptance will be rescinded. I asked you in #3 if anything of this sort applies to your Penn State admission? If it does, you may need to provide your deposit before other universities evaluate your applications, or risk losing your assured seat in PSU’s freshman class.

If this is applicable, I am sure your PSU acceptance letter delineated what you are required to do and what deadlines appertain.

Oh ok. Thanks man. It appears that they need a deposit by May 1st. So, I have time to wait.
