Hi - I know our family is one of several for whom the Fordham results will be the final piece of the puzzle. Starting this thread:

To create an easy place to look and see if anyone's heard yet (or has any scoop on when results will come out!).

To ask whether anyone knows if Fordham is an "overadmit" school (like Syracuse) or a "just enough" admit school (like DePaul) and, in either case, what are the chances if you're placed on the waitlist.

Thanks, and fingers crossed for all our CC families.

First, my fingers are crossed for all of you still waiting to hear from Fordham!!! And since it IS a Catholic school, I figure a couple of prayers tonight at Mass for you all couldn’t hurt either! ;)

People are starting to post decisions in the Fordham forum but no Theatre majors have posted anything yet. I can’t see anyone not hearing by the first full week of April.

My understanding from last year is that they typically accept approximately 10% of the applicants (around 60) to yield an incoming class of 20-25. Sorry but I don’t know if Fordham even has a waitlist or what the chances would be to come in off of it.

We received a letter dated March1 that stated my S would be admitted to LC, Theatre major but the actual admission offer would not arrive until April 1. Hope this helps.

I know several kids waiting to hear about Fordham’s performance major. As of yesterday, nothing yet. I think they stick pretty closely to the April 1 date.

hello! as a spokesman of a waitlisted fordham applicant… i was deferred early action, waitlisted in april, and double waitlisted in a smaller group of applicants in june… August 4th i recieved a letter that there were no spots to even give so the waitlist was closed. slim to no applicants were accepted.
Student to student… dont count on it
i chose a college for my freshman year and was just accepted to Fordham as a transfer.
good luck
