@grotonguy, good luck as always. I’m freaking out inside and I’m trying to just get through these days. I know putting on this pressure on March 10 could be an ingredient for disaster, but honestly, I’m very hopeful. I do not want to go back to my local public school. Do you guys have fall back plans? Just attend another year at public and then try again?

@pxalska, good luck to you as well. I’m also putting a lot of pressure on March 10, as I really want to know, and am hopeful for the decisions. Yeah I agree, I do not want to go back to my school for another year. I have been going to private school for 2 years, and I like it, but I really want to go to Groton for eighth grade. @stargirl3, what are your fallback plans?

I don’t really have fallback plans. Since I only applied to Groton, I don’t have a choice but to go back to public school and try again next year.

Stargirl3, do you like your school at least? I can’t stand mine

For the most part, yes. There are just two classes that are made up of the same kids and the kids are awful. Three words–stupid, mean, disrespectful, obnoxious (they can’t count to 4). It’s always going to be these same kids because of the program.

I’m applying for Groton too! All other schools I’m applying to send decisions on march 9th, so I think that one day will probably be the longest wait ever!

We got another Groton waiter!! Hm. That sounds like a waiter for Groton. No that’s not what I meant… Hey AmbiD77, how are you?

Hahahaha it does!
I’m great, but the wait is killing me. How about you?

Dying as per use. One side of me is like “don’t worry! You’ll get accepted into everywhere” and the other side is like “all rejections. nothing to do. go work as a cashier”

^^ haha I totally agree!! And welcome, new Groton waiter, I’m on mobile and I can’t see your username to put behind an @ but hello!

Hey PxAlaska and stargirl3! I feel the exact same way! Maybe we’ll end up being classmates next year :)

@AmbiD77 what grade are you applying for?

@PxAlaska yup. Thats exactly how I feel.

Im applying to groton too for 11th grade :)

Woohoo! I wish we’d all get accepted and we could meet at Groton. Especially since Annyuta is applying for the same grade as me :D

Haha yeah. It would be cool :)

:D @Alaska. Maybe we ll be in the same room, who knows? ;)

@Annyuta I think that would be a very amusing coincidence. There aren’t usually too many 11th grade applicants so there’s actually quite a large chance for it :)

It definitely would we ll see on march 10th i guess…

Curse the ides of March minus 5 days.

Lol I wish I could just forget about it and check casually on march 12th or something. Unfortunately I ll probably be the one waiting and reloading the page every minute haha.

@stargirl3, I’m applying for 10th grade, how about you? :)
