hi guys,

i'm so nervous/excited at the same time to get the decision and even though this is a tad early, it thought we could all vent/freak out together!

March Madness takes on a whole new meaning!

I’m nervously awaiting a decision also!!! April 1st can’t come fast enough!

I am so excited yet very nervous…
I will be devastated if I get rejected from Emory.
What scares me more is the scholarships. Even if I get accepted, without much scholarship, I can’t go because it’s so expensive.
Ahh…It’s agonizing really…

I don’t think u can get a scholarship unless you applied Emory/oxford scholars

^ I think they mean grant money/ financial aid.

Heck, I’m in EDII but I can’t wait til RD decisions come out so they’ll send out housing and all that information already haha. I want to get all this stuff finished already!

Good luck guys!! I hope to meet a lot of you guys at orientation in August!

Lizzie, did u get a financial aid package yet?

I’m anxious for my decision as well. The waiting is driving me crazy.

We received aid estimates two days after being accepted, but the earliest for final aid package notification is April 1. Another reason I can’t wait for then. haha

do you guys think the decisions will come out a little earlier? 7pm on april 1st seems a bit late

I’m trying not to think about it, but it’s hard when I constantly get emails reminding me of how awesome all of the colleges are.

I dont the decisions will come out earlier
We get decisions 2 weeks from this coming Sunday!!!

Their website seems to indicate the end of March. Where did 7:00 p.m. on April 1st come from?

I do know Oxford students who did not get selected as Oxford Scholars but who got partial scholarships ($15,000 or $8000, for their two years there). Do you mean they had to apply in order to even be considered for that?

Just to clarify, scholarships are either “need” or “merit”.
“Need” requires FAFSA.
“Merit” (academic) requires nomination and application at Emory, but not at Oxford where it is automatic.

I got a 3yr ROTC scholarship to emory, just hoping I can get in now :)

I just received an email which says that admission decisions will be posted online (OPUS) after 7:00 P.M. EDT on Wednesday, March 28. Good luck everyone!

received the Email as well. I will be out that evening for our National Honor society and all seniors must attend. Have to be there at 7pm

Oh wow, that sucks. I won’t be at home either…I have to leave for a school trip directly after school (around 4:15 for me) on Wednesday.

just want to say good luck to all of you still waiting to hear from emory!

Good luck everyone!!!
