I registered last minute (on-time) for the June SAT 2's, US History and Math Level 2. I check back about 5 business days later, as instructed, and
I still have the "Waiting for Test Center Assignment" in my registration pane for the June SAT subject tests, the credit card used was charged 33$ and CREDITED 8$ and 8$ ??? what is going on? did CB cancel my registration and keep the 17$ basic registration fee?

Yea I signed up and Im' still waiting for test center assignment...I have a friend taking it an hour away :-(

CB didn't cancel your registration (or at least, I don't think it did ...). If it says, "waiting for test center assignment", it means that you are guaranteed to have a spot somewhere - I'm pretty sure it is one of the location choices that you indicated - and they will tell you where.

They let you know eventually.

what about the money issue??? anyone
thanks

last time i had the "Waiting for Test Center Assignment" issue, ended up going 30 miles from my house. BLEH

ahhh!!! no!!!

Call the CB ASAP (Monday morning?). The money issue looks wierd. If they canceled your registration, why would they only credit part of your fee? Maybe it was a computer error on their part?

And if you do get assigned to a test center too far away, you can show up at a closer center and take the test there if they have extra booklets (which they almost always do). You'll be billed an extra test-center change fee, unless the center you test at was one of the two you requested, in which case, you ask them to waive the fee when you get the bill. People who change test centers like this have priority for seats over standby testtakers.

issue...resolved (test center acquired, one that is about 4 mi. from my house so its all good)

now i have another issue: should i take chem sat 2 (already have a good bio sat 2 score from last year) with us history and math level 2 on the june 4th test date (did not register for it, but i think one can just take it, and have CB bill one later along with the registered ones)

well, are you ready for it ...? if so, why not?
