Waiting is agony. Chance me, please?

SAT... V:730, M:710, W:700

Thanks a lot, guys :)

Community service?Legacy?Other hooks?

Not a clear answer either way from my standpoint, sorry. You look qualified, but so are many others.

No hooks unfortunately. I have community service hours and I’m a volunteer tutor at school, but nothing that stands out really. My public high school is insanely competitive (10% are Merit Finalists) so hopefully they’ll take it into consideration when considering my mediocre GPA.

Good luck, I hope you get your choice…

It’s a toss up. There are lots of kids with those stats at Cornell. If you have a good essay, you have a chance.

You are so right… waiting is hell, but you are like me: IN the middle, could get in, may not. Have spent DAYS searching these forums for peoples stats trying to prove to myself that I should get in… no luck… Still have no damn clue what is going to happen. Until something does though? I shall continue stressing…

I suggest you guys just chill…you’ll know soon enough. It’ll be okay. :)

^Exactly…people are too ****ing crazy.

Let me ask you this OP: if you don’t know whether or not you’ll get in, how would we? Go relax with friends–you’ve obviously worked hard, so now you should be a senior.

Scores really mean nothing these days…Everyone has em. The way to get in is through essays.

scores kinda on low side (gpa and sat).
u dont really have ecs to back you up and make up for the scores.
its a toss up.

which school and major did you apply to?

Those stats are mundane in comparison to those of the other applicants; however your best bet is the essay.
